Tiger Swallowtail

Bob writes:  "The Tiger Swallowtail, with its delicate symmetrical shape, brilliant colors, and ballet like movements, is a sight to enjoy over and over again. From my perspective as a nature photographer, the Tiger Swallowtail is the "big game" of the butterfly realm in Iowa, as it is one of the largest ones we have, and I think the most beautiful. This lovely specimen was photographed in Wakefield Woods, a Story County park just north of the National Animal Disease Center in Ames, Iowa."
