Witness Protection Post.

Well, I suppose I should write something but the problem is I have been told not to tell anyone what I did today. I am not to tell the important things. It is a "masonic secret" - You see we can swear each other to secrecy if we don't want something shared and then we can't tell. So if I told you where I ate or who with for lunch or dinner I would be breaking the seal of the secret. And I can't do that. I am sorry I just can't. Suffice it to say that we all had a good time and you should be sorry that you weren't there.

I just looked at my blog count since I was made a "Blog of Note" by blogger. (I always knew I was notorious) - Yesterday I had 3,084 hits on the blog and since last night I have had 6,556 more. That is over 9,500 hits. The power of Blogger. I was not sure what that meant and I guess it means that a lot of people have been looking at my blog. The thing is I have not been writing much lately. I have not had anything I felt like writing about. I wonder if the "Poem A Day." that I was participating in wore me out or the fact that I was really busy or just that I wanted to take pictures. I love this time of year and I have loved taking the pictures. And, of course, I have always been publishing my friend Bob's Pictures.

I can tell you that I will get my car back tomorrow and will be $1,809 poorer. But that is still cheaper than a new car and I am really pleased that I found Denny's Automotive to do the work. They are not over priced and have people who know what they are doing. In fact the dealership where I took it before for the same problem did not do a good job and probably caused the problem to be more serious this time around. I can't tell you who it was because they would probably sue me but I won't ever buy another car there nor will I allow them to service my car again. Not only did Denny's fix the car but the owner loaned me his Chevy Trail Blazer to drive and I made three trips to Des Moines in it. I really appreciated what they did and will recommend them to everyone I know. In fact I just did.

We had the Scottish Rite Officer's Meeting tonight and had it in conjunction with a "Meet and Greet" fellowship time in the Library at the Scottish Rite. I went down about 3:00 and set the room up with drinks and snacks and guys came in from 4:45 until about 7:45. They were not all in there for the entire time but it was nice to see them come and go. It has been decided to do this on the first Monday of every month so that is where you will find me on those nights. Hopefully it will be a place where members can come and get to know each other a little better and bring friends to let them know about the Scottish Rite.

So I am probably boring every one and it is late and I am yawning. I have a really busy day tomorrow and Friday. I have Arcadia Lodge tomorrow night (stated meeting) and Specialis Procer on Friday. We are having a Third Degree for our first initiate. I am excited. I get to play a part in the degree and it is one of my favorite parts But If I told you about it I would have to kill you. Just kidding. We don't do those sorts of things. Hey, Thanks for stopping by, Come back soon. Always Remember That You Are Loved. Hugs, J-bear.
