Annual Meeting

The Annual Meeting of St. Bartholomew Conclave was held today. It was held in the Scottish Rite Consistory Building in Des Moines and the main auditorium sort of soaks up the light So these are kind of dark but you get the idea. We installed six new members into the Conclave and they are all exemplary Masons.

Following the business meeting Knight Companion Frederick G. Kleyn III, Knight Grand Cross, , Most Illustrious Grand Sovereign of the United Grand Imperial Council of the Red Cross of Constantine and Appendant Orders for the United States of America, Mexico and the Philippines conducted a Town Hall with the Knights Companions present.

The Knights Companions then adjourned to the Second Floor Tapestry Lounge to join the ladies for hours'devours.

Freedie Holmes, wife of Intendent General Glenn Holmes really didn't want me to take a picture for the blog but I did it anyway because that's the kind of guy I am.

This was the first event on the new carpet in the Second Floor Tapestry Longue. It is a beautiful addition to the Temple.
The Head Table
Most Worshipful Brother Donald E. Mosier, Grand Master of Masons in Iowa addresses the group.

Our new Sovereign, D. Dean Johnson

As I have said before I really love the Red Cross of Constantine. I am not really sure why I should have been asked to be a member but I was and I am really proud to be a member. I have been Recorder for a long time and I enjoy the work involved. I especially enjoy it because our ladies are included. My mother also loved the Red Cross and I always feel her presence with me when I am at this meeting.

St. Bartholomew Conclave maintains a Web Site and if you would like to see it click on the emblem on the left. It will take you there.

Hugs to all - jcs
