I have a handsome nephew! Besides that he is a good guy.
I went out to Lodge practice this afternoon and when I got back Jon had been here and had taken Max to the woods. Max is still panting (7:39 PM) but you can see he is nuts about Jon and Jon is nuts about him. His cat likes him also so you know he has to be a good guy if the animals like him.
It can't be just because he feeds them because I am the one who does that. He just loves them.
Speaking of the practice there were three of our newest members there to practice. Justin, Tom and Peter will all have a part in next Thursday's Third Degree. We can be very proud of these guys who are willing to learn parts and eager to participate.
I just wanted to share the news. Time to get ready for Desparate Housewives. Bear Hugs. j

I have a suggestion regarding the new TV season, Forget about it. Just turn it off. I'll admit that there are some very interesting shows on the history channel or national geographic. Bust the rest of the stuff is bad even on a good day.
But the problem is, it is addictive. It is as addictive as the chemicals that folks inhale or ingest or inject into their veins. You could say that the TV acts as a mental black hole that sucks everything out of your brain, right through your eyeballs. (That is why your eyes hurt after watching too much TV.)
So turn off the tube, grab a book off the shelf, and learn something. Or better yet, start a discussion with somebody who knows something. Then when your eyes or your ears hurt, it is from the knowledge that is entering your brain. Of course these activities are addictive as well, but at least they cause no harm.

Jay's argumentive friend who knows that when he stops arguing with Jay, Jay will start to think he doesn't like him anymore.
But you aren't really arguing with me. It is more like a discussion and I kind of think we agree about most of this "stuff" except I am free to say it and you must be more circumspect. :~) j
