United Nations Day

In June of 1959 my senior class visited the United Nations as part of our Senior Class Trip to Washington , DC and New York City. It was an unforgettable trip and the stop at the United Nations was a highlight. I know the UN is not perfect but it is a hope for our world and , as such, I support it. Click here to go to the United Nations Web Site to view a message from the Secretary-General.
"We will be judged in the future on the actions we take today -- on results. On this United Nations Day, let us rededicate ourselves to achieving them."
Ban Ki-moon, Secretary-General
