Irena Sendler was indeed a saint. One of the sad things about her passing in 2008 was having Glenn Beck besmirch her memory by a political attack on Vice President Gore. See http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0ygIYxmvfJo
At the time I got into a big online shouting contest with a rabid Glenn Beck supporter.
