Arcadia Lodge Past Master's Dinner

Arcadia Lodge # 249

Past Master's Night

Tonight Arcadia Lodge honored the Past Master's of the Lodge. There are 28 Past Master's of our Lodge, 17 were in attendance. It was a great event.
To go to an on-line album of the photos of the event click on the picture of the centerpiece above or here.

Our Junior Warden, David Baker, Senior and Junior Stewards (Fredrick Killian and Tom Meskan) and their ladies prepared a wonderful dinner. (I am the one that taught Dave the recipe for the chicken breasts.)
Jeremy Davis presents the Arcadia Teacher of the Year, Mary Kautzky, with a Certificate. She will also receive a check for $150 to be used at Ames High School where she teaches.

The dining room was pretty full.
The speaker was Jack Van Sickel a recipient of the T. S. Parvin Award.
Past Masters in attendance.

Third Row, - L to R; Dennis Dutton, Dave Dickson, Oliver Boyington, Darryl Staley, Jack Van Sickle, Dwight McDonald, Pat Fischer.
Junior Past Master Josh Tostlebe was presented with a Past Master's Apron by his grandfather, Past Master Leonard Reedholm. The apron originally belonged to Charles "Stan" Stanforth who was a Past Master of Arcadia Lodge (1951) - You can see all of the Past Masters of Arcadia Lodge here.

David has his Post up about the evening. His pictures may be found here.

Arcadia Lodge is very fortunate in many respects. A majority of our Past Masters attend the Lodge meetings, help out with degree work and are active members of our Lodge. We are also fortunate in out young officer line who are working actively to make our Lodge the best in the state. It was a great evening and I am glad I was able to attend. that is marvelous.
Men need a place like this to bond and be with other men.
Especially with some history to it.
